Born on the streets of East London in 2013, Butchies serve 'the best damn fried chicken in town', with it handmade in their stores daily. In total, they now have 7 venues across London, and have over 50k Instagram followers.
Butchies pride themselves on being a 'people's place', and for this to be true, they know they need to invest in systems that help their staff build and grow together. They were therefore keen to look at introducing a platform that could support their employees when it came to managing their finances, and if possible, reduce the stress that can be associated with that.
Butchies introduced Wagestream to solve this challenge - a decision made all the more easier thanks to the fact Wagestream connects with over 30+ Workforce Management, Time & Attendance (T&A) and Payroll systems, including the system used by Butchies. This meant a lightening quick set-up, and extreme ease-of-use for Butchies moving forward. Once live, Butchies staff commented on the fact that Wagestream was like a 'personal helper' to them - with the app giving them the ability to track how much money they have earned between pay periods. This not only allowed them to budget like never before, but also to see how they compared to their previous pay period, and pick-up extra shifts if required.
There is a fixed fee of £1.95 each time a transfer is made. This is paid by the employee unless you decide to subsidise it.

Yes. They can’t access more than 50% of their earned wages – you can set this lower if you wish. There is also a monthly withdrawal limit of £1000.
