Wagestream runs on an impact operating system

Since Wagestream was first founded, we’ve reported on our social impact to our founding impact investors and an impact advisory board.

We doubled-down on our commitment as a dual-purpose business, by becoming an audited B Corporation in 2022.

Lived experience drives our product roadmap

In our quarterly workshops, we invite members to feedback on our app, share their experiences with money, and ideas for future benefits.

“I’ve never known anything like it before”

“When I’ve had bad experiences with money, it can get very claustrophobic. Since the pandemic I think it’s got a lot worse for people generally - wages are realistically going down instead of up, and it’s not meeting people’s day to day living costs; and I think that’s the crux of the issue - that people struggle to get through from week 1 to week 4. You feel like the walls are closing in. For example, when I started my job, it was 6 weeks until you got paid - and that’s quite a long time to wait for your money.”
