Natures Way Foods’ commitment to the financial resilience of their staff
Based in the food production ‘square mile’ of Portsmouth, Natures Way Foods employs over 1,200 employees and handles over 110,000 tonnes of finished product every year.
In 2018 Natures Way Foods launched their wellbeing initiative aimed at providing their staff vital support for physical, mental and financial wellbeing. Recognising that financial worries and expensive forms of credit can impact mental health, in early 2019 they approached Wagestream as they were looking at innovative ways to improve the financial wellness of their talented staff.
A universal benefit that delivers
The team at Natures Way Foods were looking for a solution which worked for their monthly paid staff members and helped them avoid the need to turn to expensive forms of credit when met with an unexpected cost before payday.

Within the first three months, 34% of their workforce had already signed up and started using the app, with employees returning on average 21 times a month to use the real-time tracking feature to understand and manage their disposable income throughout the month.
