Sara is Senior Research Fellow for the Personal Finance Research Centre (PFRC) at Bristol University; the UK’s leading research experts on the Poverty Premium and low-income financial inclusion. Sara’s academic work is used by Wagestream and all of the Fair by Design fund recipients to measure impact on the poverty premium.

Hayley is a director on the impact measurement team at the UK’s largest impact investment fund; also an advisor to ImpactVC, supporting VCs to unlock positive change for people and the planet. She sits on the steering group for Fair by Design and actively coaches VCs and Startups through programmes such as Zinc.

Nye Cominetti

Nye is a principal economist whose work covers the labour market, with a focus on low paid workers. He writes the Resolution Foundation’s annual ‘Low Pay Britain’ report, and leads on the calculation of the real Living Wage.  He has also written about the social care workforce, the impact of the Covid crisis, and pension contributions among low paid workers.

Rachelle Earwaker

Rachelle is a senior economist at Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and has experience working for Treasury in New Zealand on budget and housing policy. She comes from a banking background and at JRF her focus is on decent and affordable housing, and on fiscal and economic policy.

Our Impact Advisory Board was selected to advise Wagestream on creating responsible growth and highlight tangible ways we can improve outcomes for frontline workers.

This is an ambitious initiative that carves the path for how financial wellbeing is understood and prioritised in years to come, and through collaboration with policymakers has the potential to influence regulation at the highest level.
